I like to say I am a child of the sixties and part of the hippy attitude still live deep inside me.
I have had many a strange and interesting careers and have a hard time fitting myself with a label. I will call myself an artist.
I love the fantasy genre and since I am published I guess I can admit to being a professional artist.
I have worked as a tombstone artist, a costume designer, a make up artist for Zombies as well as being a Zombie mom. That means while I was a Special Events Designer at Six Flags, I designed the costumes, the *look* of the characters, the make-up, trained and kept up with the High Profile Characters... The Zombies! I dearly LOVE Halloween. Its my favorite Holiday. The time spent working at Vorta Inc. with Doctor Blood is still my favorite job of all time.
I was a member of the Cleburne Carnegie Players for years so of course I am still a frustrated actor. My husband and I were in the S.C.A. for ages until the polical power struggle became too much to overlook. I was a Renny for years at Scarborough Faire. My husband then talked me into the Single Action Shooters, which we still belong to. I dearly love the Victorian clothing too,
I assisted in the organization of the French Court, a local theatrical /charity group, but health issues with my husband and myself forced us to retire.
I play the role of Queen Marguerite de Navarre when I visit Ren Faires.
